- One thing about Twitter is that I get to find out how much people think they know about me because of the particular demographic I happen to fall into (white male boomer, among other things). I am sure that demo explains a lot about me, but not everything. I think I understand a lot of it, and some of it is even justified. (After all, I am a white male boomer.) But at the same time, it really tires me out. A lot of what people think they know about me simply isn't true.
- Speaking of being tired of something... I'm glad the Dems did the impeachment. (I wasn't in favor of impeachment until the Ukraine high crime). Sometimes you just need to do the right thing, regardless of any political consequences that may result. But I already know he did it, so I am tired of the whole thing. Call me after the November election.
- According to a lot of liberals I see in my Twitter feed, Bernie Sanders is a racist sexist fascist, not much different that Donald Trump. Really??
- I think some of Bloomberg's ads have been pretty good.
- Of course I could be wrong, but is there anything more useless than a poll of Congressional Approval. I would conjecture that if asked for approval of their own Congressperson, the normal would probably be 45% to 75% approval. So when the overall approval rating is typically around 25%, it is just some amorphous feeling that everyone else's Congressperson is lousy. I don't think it really tells me anything very useful.
